ADAPTING ACROSS PORTFOLIO
We have been fortunate to have a relationship with the Poland Spring brand for over 25 years! For this latest project, we worked from a design lock and three design templates from an overseas agency. Our team strategically extended the graphics to 57 SKUs, which included: labels, shrink-packs, corrugate trays and corrugate cartons. Our process included creating rough mock-ups to evaluate placement of elements and to assess shelf impact for all SKUs.
MECHANICAL DEVELOPMENT
We received an image for the background that needed to be optimized for printing. Incorporating that optimization into our overall color strategy for the project, we applied an EG color palette + white ink for shrinks, and a minimized color palette for labels, trays and cartons. We did custom counter-distortion using our proprietary technique for all the tray-less multi-pack shrinks. We also provided copy management and proofreading, and created digital pack and pallet renders for all SKUs.
PRESS SUPPORT
We created color targets to represent the various SKUs/substrates/print methods. In addition, we provided pre-pro planning and communication, and post-press evaluation. {Note that we did not provide press support for this latest project due to the COVID-19 pandemic.}
